Attending Any Weddings This Summer? Joss & Main Has Your Wedding Gift!

by Lisa on June 25th, 2012

3 tiered cooling rack

If you have any weddings to attend this summer it’s worth taking a peek at Joss & Main because they’ve got a sale filled with bridal shower and wedding gifts!

Isn’t that three tiered cooling rack up there genius? Around the holidays I like to bake a ton of cookies but I stop as soon as I run out of room to cool them. With a bunch of racks like that I could triple my production. :) Originally $24.99, Joss & Main has it for $18.99.

Fab Gift Idea: Personalized Pillows from One Kings Lane

by Lisa on May 21st, 2012

personalized pillow

I was just browsing One Kings Lane when I came across a sale of theirs containing different designs of personalized pillows. These could make a really fun wedding gift and/or shower gift!

The above image is obviously just a sketch, but it looks like these would be more couch pillows than bedroom pillows.

It’s my experience that newlyweds love seeing their names paired together, so depending on the couple this gift could be a big hit!

The pillow above costs $99.

DIY Gift Idea: Important Dates

I saw this on Pinterest and thought it could make a great DIY gift for a bride and groom, or a DIY project for the bride and groom to complete before or after the wedding.

Come up with a fun design – maybe using the couple’s wedding colors – and list out a few important dates for the bride and groom. If you’re making this as a gift you might have to consult them for the important dates {stealthily, of course}. I can see this being a keepsake they’ll treasure forever.

Or, if you’re going to make this for yourself, let the dates be a secret between the two of you.

Fab Gift Idea: Britto Luggage

by Shaina on November 29th, 2011

I randomly came across this amazing Britto “A New Day” Luggage Collection and fell in love. Why not gift a special bride and groom with new, fun luggage that will never get lost in the sea of black suitcases at the baggage claim? Chances are, they’ll be jetting off to their honeymoon shortly after their wedding, so why don’t you send them off in style? These Britto suitcases are not only fun and bright, but also durable. They are light-weight and hard-sided suitcases that will most certainly withstand the grind of traveling.

Great Wedding Gift Idea: Jonathan Adler Curve Bracket Picture Frame

by Lisa on September 9th, 2011

True Story: I don’t like buying picture frames. I actually went out yesterday in search of a frame or too but came back empty handed. Whenever I’m at the store searching for frames everything starts to blend together and I get frame anxiety. I know, totally weird, right?

This Jonathan Adler Curve Bracket Picture Frame will certainly stand out from the pack, however. The curved shape is fantastic and it would bring emphasis to whichever photo is lucky enough to reside inside.  Put in a photo of the bride and groom and give them a gift they’ll look at for years to come!

Love at First Sight: Wedding Countdown Clock

by Laura on August 31st, 2011

Right before my cousin got married a few years ago, I noticed this wedding countdown clock in her kitchen.  If you have a friend that just got engaged, this makes a cute little gift to hand to the bride-to-be.  You can program the date and time of the wedding, and the timer counts down to the big day.

This countdown clock is available on Amazon for less than $12.  Plus, you can re-program the clock, so get ready to pass it on to your friends, cousins and little sisters!
