Maxi Dresses for Your Honeymoon (Or Beach Vacation)

We have written about maxi dresses being the perfect honeymoon dress on a few separate occasions. Maxi dresses are easy to pack and require a minimal amount of thinking. They’re versatile and can be worn casually or more formally with the adjustment of your shoes and accessories. Heck, you can even throw a maxi dress on over your bathing suit and scoot out the door.

I was browsing around last night and spotted the two maxi dresses above, which I thought would be fantastic options for a beach honeymoon or any sort of beach vacation.

Wedding Dress for Less: Rachel Pally Aurora Maxi Dress

I think this Rachel Pally Aurora Maxi Dress could make a fantabulous wedding dress! It’s simple, yet elegant and you could totally play it up with some awesome jewelry. I’m a total fan.

A wide neckline adds a graceful drape to this long, flowing jersey dress. Pleating crimps the bodice at the waist, and the skirt falls to a floor-skimming raw hem. Gathered elastic cuffs at 3/4 sleeves. Unlined.

My favorite thing about the dress is the jersey material. It sounds so comfortable! You are going to be in your wedding dress for hours, so why not be comfy, right?! And the cream color is just right.

I think this dress is also super flattering. The material doesn’t seem to be too clingy. The bad part is it’s currently only available in size S. On another note though, I’d read the review of it and it appears to run large, so keep that in mind!

And, if you aren’t 100% sold on the Rachel Pally Aurora Maxi Dress as a wedding dress, it could also pose as a swell honeymoon dress! It’s so easy to dress up or down that I think it’s extremely versatile.
