Save an Extra 20% on Sale Items at Athleta

I always am on the hunt for new workout clothes. If you are going to exercise, you might as well look cute doing it!

Right now, Athleta has its semi-annual sale going on, where you can save up to 70% off select items. But it gets better. Athleta just announced a promo code where you can save an additional 20% on sale items with the code SUMMER20. Sale ends August 6 at 2:59 EST.

Athleta has everything from sports bras, to swimwear to dresses. While I have a ton of t-shirts to work out in, I’m always looking for new capri workout pants, particularly leggings. For some reason, I think leggings make me feel slimmer when I workout! I like black leggings too, just because I feels this best hides the “butt sweat” – and let’s face it, you need to hide that sweat when you are taking public transportation home.

My pick during Athleta’s sale is the Quick Step Capris. Originally $59, they are marked down to $39. After I use the SUMMER20 code, they’ll go down to $31.20 – a savings of almost $18! I like the Black and Petunia Pop color best – it’s nice that there is a tiny splash of color to break the black up, but you can get away with wearing nearly any color top over these pants.

It seems like just the other day that I went off to college. I remember that summer beforehand like it was yesterday – the anticipation, packing and repacking to make sure I had everything, making sure I had the biggest mini refrigerator possible, finding the perfect pair of shower sandals, saying goodbye to my high school friends. I was just telling my fiance the other day how absurd it seems that I spent the bulk of my graduation money on purchasing my first computer. All $1,500 of it went toward a desktop computer that I loved and adored and kept for exactly two years. Ouch. {Man did I ever have a heck of a Napster collection on it!}

Anyways, it’s funny how quickly things change. I just got notice from Walmart about their current laptop sale, and the prices are phenomenal.

They’ve obviously put this bundle together for all of the college kids that will be looking for a new laptop, but college or not, this is one heck of a deal. The computer that comes in the $318 bundle is a Compaq Black 15.6″ Presario XY871UA-ABA Factory Refurbished Laptop PC with Intel Celeron 900 Processor and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit {$278 on its own}. It’s refurbished, which isn’t necessarily ideal, but I’ve had great luck buying factory refurbished items in the past {including a computer}.
