I try not to do too many couponing posts, but I came across a really great deal on Aveeno haircare products that I think is just too fab not to share because you can get 4 Aveeno haircare products for FREE!  {As long as you have a CVS in your town.}

I learned about this deal from my favorite couponing site, Stretching a Buck.  Here’s how the deal works.

Aveeno Haircare Products – prices start at $6.49 each this week only at CVS.

• Print out two of each of the following coupons from the Coupons.com website.  {Once a coupon prints you can hit back on your browser and it will print a second one.}

Use $1.50/1 Aveeno Nourish + Shampoo or Conditioner, excludes trial size
Use $1.50/1 Aveeno Nourish + Style Styling Product

• You will need to get a combination of 2 shampoos/conditioners and 2 styling products to make use of the coupons.  Most are on sale for $6.49, so after the $1.50 coupon you will pay $4.99 out of pocket for each item.

• Because your total before coupons is $25.96, you will receive $10 in Extra Care Bucks that can be used on a future CVS purchase.

• Make sure you save your receipt because and then when you get home print out this $10 Aveeno mail-in-rebate.  You will need the UPC numbers off the four items you just purchased, plus your receipt from CVS.

In Short:

Purchase $25.96 in Aveeno haircare products at CVS.

Save $6 in coupons, so you will pay $19.96 out of pocket.

Receive $10 in Extra Care Bucks, bringing our purchase down to $9.96.

Receive a $10 refund from Aveeno, making this a 4 cent money maker!

New Cellfire coupons are available, which means it’s time to restock your grocery savings card!

The way Cellfire works is that you register your grocery savings card {you know, the little card that’s probably on your keychain} with the site and then each month you can log on and “add” coupons to your card.  When you buy these items at the grocery store your coupons will automatically be deducted from your total when your grocery card is scanned.  It’s pretty neat!  Unfortunately Cellfire coupons can not be stacked with printed coupons, but if you’re not big on clipping coupons anyway this is a great way to save a little bit of $$$ with minimal effort!

If you’re a coupon fiend like me, you might be disappointed by holiday weekends because typically there aren’t any coupons in the Sunday paper.  This weekend, surprisingly, there was one insert from Proctor & Gamble, but I’m happiest on those weekends with three inserts.

To abate your need for coupons, make sure to check out all of the printable coupons that are available.  Most companies replenish their stock of printable coupons at the beginning of the month, meaning there are many coupons available now that may not be available toward the end of the month.
