I was excited to see that Michael Todd Cosmetics is at Ideeli today! Awhile back, I blogged about how I really didn’t know much about Michael Todd but that it seemed to be a great all-natural skincare and cosmetics company.  Well, fast forward past the last couple of months:  I now use several Michael Todd Cosmetics products, and I love them!

First up is the Long Wear Creme Shadow in Vacation Bronze. These photos are super awkward … but they’re from the Michael Todd website. I absolutely LOVE this eye shadow. I use an eye shadow brush to put it on, and it goes on easily without any pulling or tugging like some creme shadows. And the best part? It’s still there when I take off my eye makeup at the end of the day! I’m not sure what colors will be available at Ideeli, but Vacation Bronze is a great shimmery gold/bronze neutral that goes with just about everything.

And what better to go with Creme Shadow than Gel Eyeliner? Once again … sorry for the super awkward photo. I first fell in love with gel eyeliner several years ago and my go-to brand was always MAC … until now. I ended up with the Gel Eyeliner in Open Gate, which I mistakenly thought was a brown/bronzy color, but in reality … it’s purple! It’s a really dark purple and to be honest … part of me still thinks it’s brown. So I’ll call it a “dark neutral.” It’s a great gel eyeliner – it goes on well and is extremely long-lasting, just like the eye shadow.

All in all, these are fabulous products that do what they’re supposed to do AND they don’t disappear in the middle of the day like pretty much every other eye makeup I’ve used! I have relatively oily skin, so the fact that this stuff holds up means a lot. These products get a blue ribbon from me!
