I remember audibly gasping when I saw those fantastic emerald earrings on Angelina Jolie at the Oscars in 2009. I’d never seen anything so beautiful. That particular shade of green just fit her coloring and the event so well.
Then I spent this entire season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills coveting Kyle Richards’ very similar emerald earrings. Shocked was I to see that they are nearly identical (in style) to those worn by Angelina Jolie way back when.
It appears that these emerald earrings are meant to be worn by brunettes, wouldn’t you say? Both Angelina and Kyle look stunning. Seeings how I, too, am a brunette, I decided that I must own a pair for myself. It stands to reason that I would look as gorgeous as the two ladies above if only I had some emerald earrings of my own! I set out this morning to find my own emerald drop earrings in the style above, and came up with a few options.

Clearly these don’t match the other pairs, but if you’re going by a cute inspired-by piece these Emerald Glass-Drop Susie Earrings from Charm & Chain will do the trick for just $50! You don’t have the double layers of emerald, but this pair would be infinitely more wearable on an everyday basis.
