So my best friend and I were chit chatting the other day, as we usually do, and we were talking about my articles for FF.  I love her, but even she’d agree to this, she’s not great at the girl thing! I mean, honestly, I’m doing her make-up at my wedding. But she asked a question that I think a lot of women have, how do I feel girly when a work uniform doesn’t really allow for it? She’s a nurse, so she has to wear scrubs but then I was thinking when I was waitressing our uniforms were just jeans and a black top, not even cute shoes! There are a couple easy, fun, and probably within company rules, ways to dress up a uniform!

Starting at the top, there are tons of great hair accessories one could wear.

In addition to just sticking something in your hair, you can easily do a couple of quick styles. Trust me, I am horrible at doing my own hair, and even I can do these! Take a small piece of hair on either side of your hair, and twist, when you get to the end pin it to the back upper portion of your head with Sta-Rite Bobby Pins and repeat on the other side and you have an easy, twist “crown.” You can do the same thing with braids, if you’re feeling ambitious. You can also, always do the “Snookie Poof” with Sta-Rite Bobby Pins!

Obviously any “plain” look can be jazzed up with a little sparkle! Another easy way to jazz up an uniform is some fun and practical accessories. Of course, check with you company and wear things that are appropriate. If you work with kids, I wouldn’t recommend danglely, grab-able items! But here are some ideas!
