KanDi Swim: $30 Bikinis

by Lisa on December 4th, 2009

Yesterday was the first time it snowed in Chicago this season and here I am talking about bathing suits.  Wishful thinking, perhaps?

KanDi Swim is a swimsuit company founded by Parson’s (hello Project Runway!) grad Dani Kates.  Currently there are only bikinis in the two available collections.  Each bikini is designed with a dessert/bakery item in mind, which is something that appeals to my love of sweets.  Appealing to my sense of frugality is that each KanDi Swim swimsuit is on sale for $30 right now… down from the regular price of $120-$150!

If you have the body to rock one of these suits, well, I envy you.  Because I know I would love a suit called Lemon Meringue in my favorite shade of yellow:

I love those little ruffles on the top!

Each section of this suit is $15, for a total of $30.  (BTW, this suit was featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.  Logic tells me that as soon as any of us put this suit on that we, too, will look like supermodels!)

There are five suits available in the 2008 collection and also in the 2009 collection, and all of the suits are just $30 total.

The $30 sale will last through the end of the month.
