I received a comment earlier today requesting information on where to find discount Uggs, and since there aren’t any good deals to be found on this fine day, I thought I would go on an e-Ugg finding mission instead.
Here’s the deal – Uggs don’t really go on sale at this time of year because EVERYONE wants a pair. And though they’re not necessarily the prettiest boots, they will definitely keep your feet snug as can be regardless of the temperature. I’m including Ugg Australia (the originals) in this post, as well as a few knock-off brands, because, let’s face it, they’re cheaper! My coworker’s daughter calls the knock-offs Fuggs (short for faux uggs), which I adore, and will steal for the purpose of this post.
I’m going to assume that whomever is looking for Ugg discounts is talking about the boots, so that’s what will be the focus of this post. The Women’s Classic Tall boot from Ugg Australia, seen below, retails for $180 and has free shipping.
So, let’s look at some that cost less, shall we?
First up, Jildor has a pretty good selection of Ugg Australia boots, including a couple of pairs that are currently on sale.
This Classic Argyle Knit originally sold for $160, but is currently on sale for $120. (25% savings)
This boot is available in black, cream, and fig.
Next, this Ugg Broome in Espresso Suede originally sold for $250. Right now it’s on sale for $162.50! (35% savings)
The same boot is also on sale in black, though the price is a little higher at $187.50.
This next boot looks very similar to the traditional Ugg Australia boot, although the sole is a little bit sturdier, which means you won’t immediately fall flat on your a$$ if you hit a patch of ice. (I know this happens because I do it at least 3x every single winter.)
This boot is called the Knightsbridge and it is available in the Chestnut Suede color. Jildor normally sells this boot for $200, but it is currently on sale for $150. (25% savings)
Shipping at Jildor will add an additional $5 to your order.
Nordstrom usually has one of the best in-store selection of Ugg Australia boots of any major department store. However, around this time of year they often sell the boots just as quickly as they can get them on the shelves. At this point in time Nordstrom only has two pairs on sale.
First up, the Lo Pro Drawstring boot.
Normally $139.95, you can snag a pair of these for just $92.90 right now. (33% savings)
This Suburb Crochet Boot is also on sale right now.
Normally $179.95, this boot is now just $119.90. (33% savings)
Shipping is currently free on Nordstrom purchases over $100 when you enter promo code HOLIDAY09 at checkout. The store is participating in Free Shipping Day tomorrow, which means that you can still place an order and receive it by Christmas.
6pm.com has a couple of different pairs of Ugg Australia boots, although they’re definitely not the traditional style.
First, if you’re looking for a little bit of height and a lot of sheep’s wool then you should check out the Sandra:
This boot normally sells for $325, but you can get it at 6pm.com for $172.50. (47% savings)
This black suede Tess has a very pronounced heel and is on the dressier side:
It’s a beautiful boot, don’t you think? It originally cost $350, but is currently selling for $188.50. (47% savings)
Shipping is free on purchases over $100 at 6pm.com, plus, if you place your order by 1 p.m. PST tomorrow, December 17, 2009, orders are guaranteed to arrive before Christmas.
Endless doesn’t carry anything by Ugg Australia, but they do have a couple of fuggs at fairly reasonable prices.
This EMU Australia Women’s Bronte Hi Boot sells for just $139.95:
If you enter promo code 20OFFHOL at checkout you’ll save $25 off purchases over $100. Plus, overnight shipping is always free at Endless!
If you want a pair of Ugg Australia boots no matter what the cost, I recommend that you check out zappos.com. They have one of the best selections I’ve seen in my online hunting.
Of course, not a single pair of them is on sale. On the plus side, they have Uggs that I haven’t seen anywhere else.
Somewhat surprisingly, Macy’s doesn’t carry Ugg Australia. However, they do have a few pairs of very reasonably priced fuggs.
If you don’t mind a little bit of detail on the boot this EMU Stinger Sheepskin Boot is a great deal:
The boot normally sells for $189. It was put on sale for $132.30, but the price has currently dropped to just $98.99! (47% savings)
Macy’s also sells the EMU Bronte Hi Suede Boot:
This boot normally sells for $89, though it’s currently on sale for just $59.99. (33% savings, and 57% savings over the original price at Endless!) It’s crazy how the price can vary so drastically from retailer to retailer, eh?
Macy’s is currently having a One Day Sale, which ends today. These prices may only be valid through the end of the day.
Piperlime doesn’t carry Ugg Australia brand either, although they do have one of the best selection of fuggs I found.
I guess this Clarks Witch Hazelboot doesn’t really look like a pair of Uggs at all, but I still like ‘em because they look so cozy!
They normally sell for $120, but they’re currently on sale for $89.99. (25% savings)
I’m not sure about the quality of shoes made by Rampage, but this suede Ashlee boot is just $50:
Not too bad of a deal, although I’m going to go out on a limb and say they’re probably not lined with real sheep wool!
Piperlime also offers free shipping and free returns. If you place your order by tomorrow at 11:59 p.m. EST you’re guaranteed to receive it via standard shipping before Christmas.
Amazon also has a nice selection of Ugg Australia boots, and if you’re looking for a special size you might be able to get a good deal. (By special size I mean outside of the 7, 8, 9 size bracket.)
Right now they are offering the Women’s Classic Tall UGG Boots for anywhere between $119 – $180. I wasn’t willing to spend a lot of time trying to figure out the right size and color combination to find the $119 pairs!
Shoes.com has a great selection of Ugg Australia boots, although unfortunately, none of them are on sale. BUT – unlike with Zappos, I can help you get some extra savings! When you buy a pair of Ugg Australia boots at Shoes.com, they’ll send you a $20 gift certificate to be used at Shoes.com anytime during the month of January. So… you might get 2 pairs of shoes out of this deal.
It’s not awesome, but it’s something, especially if you want a very specific pair of boots that aren’t on sale anywhere.
Shipping is free on all orders at Shoes.com.
I am not very familiar with Whooga, although I know they make Fuggs. They’re cheaper than Ugg Australia, and according to the website, better quality.
This Chestnut Sheepskin Classic Tall Boot will cost you $122 at Whooga.
Unfortunately, as Whooga is an Australian company, shipping costs $15, and these boots will take quite a while to arrive.
Alright, so this just became the longest post ever. If you are on a last-minute hunt for some Uggs, I hope this helps.
Do any of you have tips for how to score discounts on Uggs or Fuggs? If so, please share!

I just bought a pair of Emu's today @ this amazing store. It was by chance and they only had a few pairs, I got a great price! But my point is, is that I LOVE them. and after coming home and doing some research I think I am more content with Emu's than Ugg's, be sure to check out this post esp. if quality is your issue. It's really interesting! Not to mention they are so divinely comfortable!!!
