Holiday Shopping: One Kings Lane – Receive $10 for Registering

by Lisa on November 3rd, 2009

As we get into the full swing of the 2009 holiday shopping season, there are a couple of online sample sale sites that are going to be key destinations for shoppers trying to save money on high quality and designer items.

The main site I’m going to focus on is One Kings Lane.

OKL is unique from all of the other sites because they have a very directed sales target: home decor.  You’ll find everything geared toward making sure you have a classy-looking home.  I’ve seen throw pillows, picture albums, silverware, rugs, vases, stationery, etc.  The list of goods and designers you’ll find goes on and on and on, although again – everything is home related.

Making OKL even better, in my opinion, is that they cover a huge range of price points.  Seriously – I’ve found items being sold in the single digits before, which is certainly something most online sample sale sites cannot say.  Per the website, “its goal is to make living well an affordable reality.”  Living well and affordable reality are two phrases I love seeing combined in the same sentence!

So why is One Kings Lane going to be a hot sample site during the year’s primary shopping months?  Simple.  Because every single item sold at OKL can be gifted to someone.  Seriously – every item.

(And if anyone wants to snag this Lady Clare Fleuri Royal Tea Tray as a gift for moi, we could totally be BFF forever! ;)   This vase originally sold for $70, but you can find at OKL for just $29, in the “Must Haves” section of the site.)

If you’re using OKL as a holiday shopping venue but aren’t quite certain what to buy someone, OKL recently unveiled e-gift cards, so you can send someone you know and love the OKL shopping experience.

One final reason why One Kings Lane is fab is that in an effort to be an all-encompassing home design site, there’s a section on OKL called “Get Inspired,” where they talk with some of their favorite designers who provide tips and inspiration for all of us on how to create a lovely home.  This is fab for me since I need all the help I can get. :)

Because the people over at One Kings Lane are so wonderful they have generously offered an exclusive deal just for readers of Fantabulously Frugal!!  (I love when that happens!)

Register for a One Kings Lane account via my personal registration link on or before November 11, 2009 and receive a $10 credit in your account!

Here’s my personal registration link: www.onekingslane.com/fantabandfrugal

If there are others you think will be interested in One Kings Lane and would like the $10 credit, feel free to forward the link to them, too.

This offer won’t last long so be sure to sign up to receive your $10 credit quickly!!

A $10 credit could really come in handy because over the next couple of months I am really going to focus on some of the great gifts that can be found at One Kings Lane.  Might as well save even more money while we’re shopping, right? ;)

(And, like so many other sites, once you’re a member and you begin referring people to OKL, you’ll receive a $25 credit for everyone you refers that makes a purchase!  Fab, right?)

Operations @ One Kings Lane

I'm so sorry to hear about the bad service, Anon! I forwarded your comment to the powers that be at One Kings Lane and they are looking into what happened to your order. Additionally, they would like to return the credit to you.
Can you please send me an email and I'll help you get this sorted out?

You can email me at: fantabulouslyfrugal@gmail.com

Thanks! Lisa

I had a previous $10 credit with OKL and this summer used it toward a Mariposa box with cocktail napkins in it, making the box even more reasonably priced. At the time I bought it, several styles were already sold out. About the time my order should have arrived, I received an email that they did not have enough napkin boxes to fulfill all orders. That's it. Not much in the way of an apology, no return of the $10 credit to my account, no offer of anything on a future order. Hope everyone else has better luck.
