Swoozie’s: 50% Off Any One Item!

by Lisa on October 23rd, 2009

Oooh!  I LOVE Swoozie’s.  True story – I visited Atlanta this summer for the sole purpose of visiting a Swoozie’s only to realize that there’s one much closer to me in a Chicago suburb.  Oops.

Swoozie’s sells all sorts of gift items and paper items, as well as lots and lots of items that can be personalized and monogrammed.  It’s a seriously fun store – so much going on!

And right now they’re offering one of the best coupons I’ve seen from them – 50% off any one item!

Enter promo code ENJOY50 at checkout to save the 50%.  (Wedding invitations are excluded.)

Coupon expires October 31, 2009.

If you’re a fan of Lilly Pulitzer, there are many Lilly products to be found, including one product I adore: Lemon Grove Flat Card.

After the discount a set of 10 cards and envelopes is just $7.48!

This Phone Message Pad in Pink and Orange is ultra cute:

50 sheets will cost just $4.99 after the coupon is applied!

Finally, my paper collection will be complete as soon as I own this Paper Rainbow:

So much paper!  So little time!  The rainbow normally costs $35, but the discount brings it down to just $17.50.  Swoon.

After browsing the interesting products & finally deciding on the rainbow you recommended, I canceled my order when I saw that the shipping to OH was $23 – more than the cost of the product! Bit surprising, in an era of free / low shipping.

That's so strange – before posting I checked out the shipping to see how much it costs. According to the chart on the Swoozie's website it appears the paper rainbow shouldn't have cost any more than $10!

I'm sorry to hear they were trying to rip you off shipping-wise. That is bad news. :(

You have to select the standard shipping as second day is what defaults for $20.XX. Try again as it surprised me at first too! I just ordered a hard plastic cup for DS school teacher for $13.48 shipped.

I just finished shopping at Swoozies liquidation sale at their Green Hills Store in Nashville, TN and I am angered to have discovered that I been over charged by a significant amount. I should have been more aware when the woman was ringing in my purchases using a calculator. While checking me out another customer brought her items back because she was overcharged. This may me even more weary. My total seemed very high, but I figured that I could check my purcahses against the receipt. After I paid, I asked for the itemized receipt and the saleslady said, “sorry, our register/computer has been down for a couple of days.” The store was closing, so I figured that I could at least compare my total against the old school credit card receipt she had given to me. Come to find out, I was over charged by $30.00. I dread having to go back and arguing for my money back, but will.

Please be careful when shopping Swoozies’ liquidation sale. Make sure you double check their math before you leave the store. Also, the sales ladies working seemed to be very cranky.
