Fall is one of my favorite times to visit NYC. The weather is beautiful, and the thinning number of tourists means it’s easier to get a good seat at Broadway performances. One habit I established when I first visited the city 14 years ago (!) was to see a Broadway show each and every time I visit the city. (And sometimes I see multiple shows.) It is my thing – and I personally think there is nothing better than live theatre. Well, live theatre with singing and dancing, that is.
If you live in NYC or will be visiting in the near future, you can save lots of $$$ on theatre tickets by heading over to Season of Savings to buy your show tickets. One show I am dying to see is Bye Bye Birdie, featuring John Stamos. (Yes, Uncle Jesse does Broadway! I saw him in Chicago a few years back and he was phenomenal.) Through Season of Savings, tickets are just $56.50 – 45% cheaper than you’d get at the box office. (You know, there are quite a few shows I’m dying to see…why don’t I live in NYC?)
The discounted tickets are available for shows up until December 20, 2009.
Season of Savings happens twice a year and offers significant discounts on Broadway shows, hotels, and even parking. Head on over to Season of Savings to see what shows are available at the discounted rate, as well as the other special offers that are available.
