Fall Shopping with ShopWiki

by Lisa on September 7th, 2009

It’s now Fall, which means the wonderful shopping site ShopWiki has released not only their Fall Style Guide, but also their Winter Style Guide.  Let’s take a look at some of the things ShopWiki thinks will be fashionable over the coming months, shall we?

Knee-Length Skirts are expected to stay in style, which is great for all of us, as this type of skirt is universally flattering on everyone!  A search just for knee-length skirts returns hundreds of choices, many of which are on sale and quite cute.  The best part of ShopWiki is that you can search for the item you want, but also adjust the scale to fit the price range you are willing to pay, as well as look for specific colors.  What I love so much about Shop Wiki is that it scans so many different stores, some of which I’d never even heard of before.

Here’s some more good news – apparently Long Cardigans are still going to be in this Fall/Winter.  Excellent news considering I bought more than my fair share last Winter.  They’re just so … cozy.  Long sleeves, short sleeves, ruffled, whatever…they’re all here to stay.

Finally, to the chagrin of some, it appears that UGGs will be back again this season.  I’m not going to complain about this – I finally caved two winters ago and I’m now obsessed with mine.  Nope, I’m not attempting to make any sort of fashion statement when I’m wearing them.  But my feet do stay toasty warm and the boots are hella comfortable – which is about all I could ever hope for during the middle of winter in Chicago.

What do you think of this season’s trends?  Do you like them or are you ready for something new?
