Thanks so much to all of you that will show up to “celebrate” my birthday with me over the next 4 hours. I’ve never had an internet party before, and I’m pretty excited about this one!

Here’s what’s going to happen: Every 15 minutes between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. CST there’s going to be a new surprise birthday giveaway posted! I’m not going to tell you what the items are (hello, birthday surprises!), but you each gift is valued at between $5-$20, with most falling in the middle.

How do you win the giveaway?

For some, all you’ll have to do is leave a regular, traditional comment! Each post will clearly state the entry number that will win for each giveaway. I added this great little comment counter, which looks like this:

See the big number on the right? That’s the counter. Using this, you will clearly know which number your comment is, and also when the giveaway is over. Each giveaway will clearly state which entry number will be the winner. (And to make things easier on all of you – word verification has been turned off today!)

Some giveaways, however, will be “Party Games,” meaning the first person to correctly answer a question will be the winner of the giveaway.

In an effort to try to share the birthday love, nobody can win a giveaway more than once today.
