Special Offer for Fantabulously Frugal Readers!

by Lisa on May 20th, 2009

I was recently contacted by the Panasonic Living in HD campaign and offered the opportunity to sign up for their new online community.

In case you’re living under a rock (which I know you’re not), online communities seem to really be taking off right now. Anyone can start one. Anyone can join one. They all have some sort of theme.

Here’s a little bit of info about this new online community, Living in HD (LiHD for those in the know):

LiHD is a community for digital video, photography and HDTV enthusiasts seeking and sharing peer-to-peer knowledge to improve their digital life. LiHD is powered by people who have answers with those who have questions, and unlike sales people who tend to be biased, the LiHD community members are all about sharing and helping each other learn and grow.

It’s a neat concept, especially if you are a technology enthusiast. I know I am. And I like the idea of a community that I can turn to if I have technology questions, or if I want to geek out over some new product.

If technology interests you, then I urge you to sign up as well to see what the community’s all about. It doesn’t cost anything to join. Plus, we can be friends. My user name is FantabandFrugal.

AND…here’s the best part. I’ve been authorized to offer the first 15 Fantabulously Frugal readers that sign up for LiHD a FREE 1 GB SD Card! (Don’t know what an SD card is? This may not be the online community for you – please be kind to others and don’t sign up simply because you see the word “free.”)

Click here to go to the LiHD website to set up your free account.

The SD cards will go to the first 15 people that sign up for Living in HD and come back here and provide me with their new user name. All user names will be verified for validity.

Please complete the Google Form below AFTER setting up an LiHD account.

Yes – I am asking for your address now. This is so I don’t need to send you all individual emails collecting addresses later. This information will not be viewed by anyone except me and the person in charge of mailing your SD card out. If you are not comfortable typing your address into a secure form, I’m sorry. All I can do is promise you that your information will not be used for any wrongdoing. Also, this Google Form will be pulled down as soon as 17 of you sign up. 17 just in case there are any invalid entries.

I hope to see some of you soon in the LiHD world! :)
