Yes, Giveaway #2 is for the book Interpreter of Maladies, which is one of the best books I have ever read. This is the debut book written by Jhumpa Lahiri, who is perhaps better known for The Nakesake, as it was made into a movie with the same name (and starring that dude from Harold & Kumar). But this first book, so delicately, simply and beautifully written, actually won the Pulitzer Prize.
Interprerter of Maladies is actually a collection of short stories – some made me laugh and some made me cry. I wished that each and every story was longer. When anyone asks me for book recommendations, this is one of the first books I recommend. And this is why I want to pass it on to one of you.
The winner of this giveaway will receive 1 paperback copy of Interpreter of Maladies.
