(sometimes known as FanFru)!
My name is Lisa and it’s so nice to meet you!
I decided to start this blog because there’s nothing I love more than a good deal. Well, actually, I love free things more than a good deal, but those are sometimes harder to find.
I love searching high and low for the best bargains, steals, and deals on the internet, and then and sending them off to friends and family. Be it coupons, ways to make money with online surveys or rebate sites, giveaways, or sales at my favorite stores – I’m usually pretty in the know about such things. So because I just can’t stop myself from finding bargains and because I want to give my friends and family a break, I’m now going to share my knowledge with all of you!
Is J. Crew having a sale? I’m going to post about it. Is Dr Pepper still giving away coupons for a free 2 litre? Yep, I’m going to post about that, too. Is there an item that I love that’s on a deep, deep discount? You can bet you’re going to be hearing about that. Is there a really good giveaway I think you all should know about? Yep, that, too. I hope to provide you with a one-stop-shop for any and all tools that can help all of us spend less money while maintaining our fantabulous lifestyles.
Here’s my promise to you – I’m only going to post about daily deals that I think are really extraordinary. This is not a site where you will only find free shipping codes (though I am always a sucker for free shipping). Some of the links on this site are affiliate links, which means if you click on the link and buy something, a few cents are thrown my way. These links in no way influence what deals I post on this site, and if I don’t believe something is a fantabulous deal, you will not see it here. Pinky swear.
A little bit more about me? I’m a 20-something gal, enjoying the good life in Chicago. I have a degree in English from the University of Michigan and a Master’s Degree in Public Service from DePaul University. And yet I find that my true love is bargain hunting, saving money, getting stuff for free, and promoting the items that I love. Go figure – it only took me 6.5 years of school and a whole mountain of student loan debt to come to this realization.
If you have any tips or information about being Fantablous and Frugal that you think we should all know about, please pass them along and I will, of course, give you credit! If you have any questions or requests, please send those along, too.
Feel free to email me anytime at fantabulouslyfrugal@gmail.com!
